For What It's Worth
The Top 10 Movies I've Seen In 2005 (starting with the one that I saw most recently):
  1. Hilary and Jackie (superb acting, captivating performances)
  2. Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe (respectful interpretation of the original and the visuals are great)
  3. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (not a single boring minute, incredible visuals)
  4. Crash (confrontationally insightful, challenging, and fulfilling)
  5. Sin City (sets a high bar for a completely new genre of movies, visually interesting)
  6. Mr. and Mrs. Smith (great chemistry, hilarious)
  7. House of Flying Daggers (great action sequences, visually breath-taking)
  8. Ray (incredible performances, great story)
  9. The Notebook (don't act like you didn't cry at the end)
  10. The Incredibles (Pixar can do no wrong)

I haven't laughed so hard in a long time.

A: I really don't want to do my laundry today.
B: Just pay someone to do it for you.
A: Yeah, I thought of that but I don't like the idea of other people touching my underwear.
B: Then wash your own underwear and let them do the rest.
A: I should get a pair of underwear for each day of the month so I only have to wash them once a month.
B: Yeah, and you should stitch the day of the month on each pair, nice and big over here (motions to his crotch area).
A: The pair numbered 31 would be used the least.
B: That should be your date underwear.

A: Whenever anything bad happens to me I blame it on the fact that I fell down the stairs when I was a baby. If that hadn't happened, I wouldn't have four fake teeth.
B: You don't have four fake teeth.
A: Fine, three. I even had two fake teeth in my retainer when I was younger.
B: Did you take it out during meals?
A: No.
B: Did you brush them after meals?
A: No. Because then I'd be taking them out in a public bathroom and if anyone walked in they'd see me holding a retainer with two white things in them. And if they looked at me, I'd smile and they'd see me missing two teeth.

Ever since I saw the first episode of Jamie's School Dinners, I've learnt the following:
  1. don't forget family
  2. Don't compromise goals.
  3. Never ever, ever give up.
  4. Be creative, approach the problem from different angles.
  5. Understand the root of the problem.
  6. Do the work yourself before you ask others to do it.
  7. Be prepared (do your homework).
  8. Always act with integrity, no matter if you're dealing with an 8-year-old kid or the ex-President of the United States (if you won't take BS from one, don't take it from the other).
I'm in such awe of this man that I'm so tempted to drop everything, fly over to England, and do whatever I can to help him with whatever cause he pulls out of his hat next. It's unfrickin' believable how much one person can do when properly convicted and trained.

I read about the iTunes Signature Maker on kottke.org and decided to give it a go.

Here's my iTunes signature based on play count.

And here's the breakdown:
- "The Promise" by When in Rome
- "Two Wrongs" (Featuring Claudette Ortiz Of City High) by Wyclef Jean
- "All Alone (On Eilean Shona)" by 1 Giant Leap
- "Where Is The Love" by Black Eyed Peas
- "Crazy for You" by Madonna
- "Come What May" (Nicole Kidman & Ewan McGregor) by Moulin Rouge
- "This Groove" (Radio Mix) by Victoria Beckham
- "Take Me Home" by Spice Girls
- "Please Mr. Postman" by The Marvelettes
- "Especially For You" by Kylie Minogue feat. Kermit
- "Walk Of Life" by Spice Girls
- "Who Loves Ya Baby?" by Debbie Gibson
- "Fixing A Broken Heart" (Duet Version) by Indecent Obsession
- "Blowin' Me Up (With Her Love)" by JC Chasez
- "Bar Code" by White Mud Free Way
- "Can't Let Go" by Mariah Carey
- "Sway" by Bic Runga
- "Rainy Dayz" (feat. Ja Rule) by Mary J. Blige
- "Chains Of Love" by Erasure
- "Love Song For a Saviour" by Jars Of Clay

With the exception of one or two tracks (i.e. "Blowin' Me Up (With Her Love)"??), I'd say that's a pretty accurate signature.
