For What It's Worth The Top 10 Movies I've Seen In 2005 (starting with the one that I saw most recently):
- Hilary and Jackie (superb acting, captivating performances)
- Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe (respectful interpretation of the original and the visuals are great)
- Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (not a single boring minute, incredible visuals)
- Crash (confrontationally insightful, challenging, and fulfilling)
- Sin City (sets a high bar for a completely new genre of movies, visually interesting)
- Mr. and Mrs. Smith (great chemistry, hilarious)
- House of Flying Daggers (great action sequences, visually breath-taking)
- Ray (incredible performances, great story)
- The Notebook (don't act like you didn't cry at the end)
- The Incredibles (Pixar can do no wrong)
