Advantages of getting off work at 4AM: - no crowds on the streets - no need to fight for a seat on the subway or bus - easy to catch a cab if you miss your subway or bus - don't have to melt under the sun - fresh bread at the local bakery around the corner!
As I sit at work and think to myself how blessed I am to be a part of such an amazing project with such inspiring people, I realize that I can't share this with the people close to me because they're not part of this world and so are not able to understand the importance and sheer thrill of such things. When I finally get a day off and get to go home, I'm bursting to talk about the new creations that I've seen take form and the techniques that crafted it but no one cares but me. They can try to be interested in what I'm saying and feign excitement, but it's always painfully obvious that we're on different planets looking at different things. Sadly, that realization takes a little bit away from the euphoria.
